Good morning, due to the power outage in Weskan, we will be on a 2 hour delay. No morning preschool today and no breakfast served. School will start at 9:50 am. I will keep you updated if we need to do something else.

Hey Weskan Families! We've got an exciting Friday ahead! A reminder about the Fort Wallace Field trip: Morning bus routes will run 15-20 minutes earlier. Please have the kids ready. We will leave school at 7:15 sharp. There is no breakfast at school, so make sure they eat before. They'll be back in time for lunch!

Hi everyone! Just a quick reminder about the Back-to-School BBQ on Thursday, August 15th. I know you might have seen different times, but the BBQ is happening at school from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Come by, grab some food, and meet the teachers. We can't wait to see you there!

Reminder: JH/HS athletes must have a physical and concussion form turned in before the first day of fall practices (Mon, Aug 19). You can turn your forms in anytime this week to the office or to Coach Clow. Or bring them the first day of school. If you still need a physical form, you can get one in Coach Clow's office.

Cheerleaders: We will plan to do a cheer camp on 10th from 4-7 p.m. for all junior high and high school girls who would like to cheer this upcoming football season. Please wear comfy clothes, tennis shoes, water, and a snack. If you would like to cheer but are unable to make it, please contact Kiera or Stacey.

Good morning, I wanted to address some continued confusion caused by a Facebook post I made yesterday. In my effort to clarify a report in the Western Times, I inadvertently created more confusion. The newspaper accurately reported the information they received. However, I want to clarify that the USD 242 Board of Education did not pass any Title IX policy during the recent policy update review and approval period. I sincerely apologize for any confusion and hurt feelings this may have caused. Thank you for your understanding.
