Summer Help – Custodian/Maintenance Position for the 25-26 school year - Weskan Schools USD 242 is seeking seasonal summer help to assist with custodial and maintenance tasks throughout the school. This temporary position is ideal for individuals who take pride in their work and want to contribute to maintaining a clean and safe learning environment. Responsibilities include painting, moving furniture, groundskeeping, deep cleaning classrooms, dusting, disinfecting desks and equipment, and performing basic maintenance tasks as needed. Custodian/Maintenance Position (Full or Part-Time) – Ongoing need Weskan Schools USD 242 is looking for a dedicated and hardworking Custodian/Maintenance professional to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our students and staff. Responsibilities include painting, minor repairs, moving furniture, groundskeeping, dusting, deep cleaning classrooms, disinfecting desks, chairs, and equipment, and performing basic maintenance tasks. Route Bus Drivers: for the 25-27 school years. The route is on a supplemental contract paying $6,500 per school year. The routes are before school and after school, driving a suburban. You must have a DOT physical, pass a defensive driving class, have CPR/First Aid certification, complete 10 hours per year of safety meetings or training, and hold a valid driver's license. Activities Bus Drivers current need and for the 26-27 school year: Hiring a CDL activity bus driver with S & P endorsement to drive various activities. An activity bus driver is paid $18/hr.
