Hi Coyote families! Just a reminder that tomorrow is camo day for first day of our fun turkey scavenger hunt. Please see the weekly turkey hunt calendar sent last week. Go Coyotes!!

Because the week before break is about to get a whole lot more FUN! 🎉
Next week, our staff and students are kicking things up a notch with a campus-wide TURKEY HUNT! Turkeys will be hiding all over the school and grounds, and it’s your job to track them down and record your discoveries on your scavenger hunt card.
Want to go solo? Go for it. Want to form a team? Even better! (Just be ready to negotiate who takes home the prize… 🦃😉)
There are 10 turkeys. You’ll receive two clues each day during the morning announcement since we’ve got a full 5-day week. As you find each turkey, record it. The clues will be displayed on the wall outside the office.
And here’s the twist…
If you spot a turkey that isn’t part of the clue list, don’t ignore it! Record that sneaky bird, too. Bonus finds are absolutely encouraged!

Tattoo a Teacher!
Get ready for a fun Student Council fundraiser from November 17–20!
Buy a temporary tattoo (only $0.50–$3.00, depending on size) from a Student Council member, then choose a teacher, para, or office staff member to wear it!
Send your student with money if they’d like to join the fun—staff will proudly show off their tattoos on Friday the 21st!

The Freshmen class will be providing the community with a free will donation spaghetti meal before the school play this Saturday. They will be serving from 5:30 until the play begins at 7. Come out and support the class and feast on spaghetti, garlic bread, salad and homemade deserts.
Hi Coyote Community, This is a friendly reminder that, with the recent time change, Weskan Schools USD 242 Board of Education meetings will now begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room.
Due to a technical difficulty, the NHS blood drive is being moved to the small gym in the school. If your appointment was between 10-11, students will be reaching out to you to reschedule if possible. If your appointment is after 11, your time will not be affected. Thank you and we apologize for the inconvenience.
REMINDER: Flu Shot Clinic is from 9-11 today in the preschool room for anyone in the community who wants to stop in for one!

FLUE SHOT INFO: Flu shot forms came home in grade school bookbags over the weekend! Please fill out and return tomorrow if you want your child to have a flu shot on Wednesday at the school. The form is also emailed to you with the latest Coyote tracks. If you want your JH high/high school student to receive one you will have to print the form out for them. At the latest, please have theirs to the School by Tuesday morning!
This is also open to the public, so anyone may stop in from 9-11 in the preschool room if you would like to receive one yourself! Forms will be there for you to fill out. Thanks!

Reminder: FAFSA night for interested parents and students 6-7 pm in the Weskan School Cafeteria.
FAFSA Night will be on Monday, October 27, from 6:00-7:00 pm in the Weskan School Cafeteria. Penny Nemechek will be here from Fort Hays Tech Northwest to provide information for parents and students about how to fill out the FAFSA. This is geared towards Juniors and Seniors, but is available for anyone who wants the information. Students are encouraged to join us after practice.
