Sorry, folks, I had the date wrong. The last day of school will be May 20, 2026, with a 1:00 PM dismissal after our community lunch. Thanks for your understanding!
Hi Coyote Families!
I’m excited to share that the Board of Education has graciously approved forgiving one snow day for this school year. Because of this, our last day of school will now be Wednesday, May 20, 2026, with dismissal at 1:00 PM following lunch.
Of course, if we experience an unexpected "snow day or weird weather day" between now and the end of the year, we will revisit this decision as needed.
The last day of school will also include our annual community lunch. Please feel free to stop by, enjoy a meal, and connect with others.
Thank you for your continued support. We’re looking forward to finishing the year strong!

Hi Coyote Community!
We are currently evaluating our preschool services and exploring different ways to best serve our youngest learners. This survey is designed to gather feedback to better understand your needs and inform our decisions moving forward.
If you currently have a preschool-aged child or will soon, please take a few minutes to complete the survey. If not, but you know someone who may benefit from these services, we would appreciate you sharing this post with them. Our goal is to both gather input from our current Weskan community and welcome new families into the PACK!

Hello Coyote Families, I hope you had an opportunity to review the documents I shared yesterday. I understand it was a lot of information, and I appreciate your time and patience. We have one final document that needs to be completed and returned with your student(s). This form acknowledges that we will pilot the new cell phone policy from April 1, 2026, through the end of the school year.
Please open the link below, print the form, sign it, and return it to school with your student(s). We will collect forms at check-in or during 1st hour tomorrow.

Hi Coyote Families, By now, you may have heard that we are implementing new restrictions on the use of cell phones, smartwatches, earbuds, and other personal electronic devices during the school day. We understand this is a change and appreciate your patience as we work through it. Over the past several months, a committee of students, parents, teachers, board members, and administrators has worked together to determine what is best for Weskan. We also wanted to be proactive, knowing a “cell phone ban” was being considered at the state level.
Earlier this year, a few situations involving cell phones raised concerns and prompted us to review our expectations. While no policy is perfect, we’ve done our best to create one that supports a positive learning environment. We will begin piloting this policy on April 1 and will continue to make adjustments as needed. Our goal is to have a finalized plan in place by August 18, ahead of the state law taking effect on September 1, 2026.
Thank you for your continued support and understanding.
