Hello, parents! For those of you who have 6-12 grade students, please stop in the little gym and grab your family envelope when you arrive at conferences (Thursday evening or Friday morning). Please look at grade cards, STAR reports, and State Assessment reports (if applicable). Teachers will be in their classrooms if you'd like to stop in and talk about your student(s) or just say "Hi!". Thank you. See you soon!

We wanted to let you know that there have been two lice cases identified within a few different classrooms in the school. At this time we are asking that all parents be diligent in checking out your kids. The state of Kansas does not endorse school wide lice checks anymore at school, so we just ask that you please be watchful at home! The school is taking the proper precautions at this time with cleaning, change of policies on headphone sharing, etc. If your kid does appear to have lice, they will be required to be treated properly before returning to school. Please check out the links below that contain some helpful information! Please let us know if you have any questions. Thanks. Hi Coyote Families,
It’s that time of year when the Kansas State Department of Education conducts the official student count. This year, the official count day falls on Monday, September 22nd (since the typical date, September 20th, is a Saturday).

To ensure our students are counted, we need strong attendance on Thursday, September 18, Monday, September 22, and Tuesday, September 23.

Attendance on these days is critical to the funding of our school. Each student present directly impacts the education, programs, and activities we can provide.

If your student has an appointment, please consider rescheduling or arranging it later in the day so they can be counted. Thank you for supporting Weskan Schools and helping us secure the funding our Coyotes deserve! Go Coyotes!

Hi Coyote Community! We’ve experienced telephone service issues since April of last year and, despite many efforts, we were unable to resolve them fully. On Friday, September 19th, we will be installing new phones along with a new telephone number.

Please note: only one digit has changed from our old number. Our new number is 785-923-5222.

We ask that you please update or edit the school’s contact information in your devices to reflect this change. Thank you for your understanding and for staying connected with Weskan Schools!
