Good morning, Coyotes!
We wanted to share a quick update about school supplies. It came to our attention that the school supply list includes headphones as a required item. The district purchased several pairs of headphones, so families are not required to purchase them.
If you would like your student to have their own pair instead of sharing, please make sure they are corded headphones. Wireless/Bluetooth headphones are not compatible with the devices our students use at school.
Just a reminder that Enrollment Day is Wednesday, July 15, from 8:00–11:00 a.m. in the white building located on the west side parking lot. We can't wait to welcome everyone back and get another great school year started! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the school office. See you Wednesday!

The school will be closed for all activities inside the main building and the Art/Gym building from Friday, July 10, through Monday, July 13. Our custodial and maintenance crews will be working throughout the buildings during this time.

As we get ready for an exciting 2026-2027 school year, I wanted to share some of the great things happening at Weskan Schools! We've been hard at work this summer preparing for another fantastic year, and we've made several exciting updates and changes that will benefit our students.
Our Welcome Back Letter includes an overview of what's new, important school updates, and key dates in July as we count down to the first day of school.

Weskan Athletics will be selling fireworks again this week! We will be open in the white building in the school parking lot.

We have some exciting news! Beginning next school year, Weskan Schools will expand our preschool program to four days per week for three- and four-year-old students. Families will have the option to enroll their child in either a half-day or full-day program, with additional learning opportunities for those who choose the extended-day option.
To support this expansion and the additional services being offered, preschool tuition will increase beginning next year. 4 half days will be $200 per student per month, and the all-day option will be $400 per student per month. Lunch will be an additional fee for full-day students
Families who have already expressed interest in preschool will receive an updated enrollment form. A new enrollment form will also be available next week for distribution to interested families.
Please watch for additional information, including the enrollment form, preschool handbook, and tentative schedule. We are excited to expand our early childhood offerings and look forward to welcoming our youngest Coyotes next year! Reminder for HS Track - bus will be leaving Weskan at 9:30
High School Regional Track @ Tribune has been moved to Friday. Same start times, 12:00 MT Field Events, 2:00 MT Running Prelims.
ALL 6-12 grade students made their goals for their end of year benchmark assessments! Therefore, we will see them in the middle of 3rd hour (9:50 am) tomorrow, May 19th. We are all so proud of how much you have grown academically this year!! 💜💛💜
JH track athletes- please return uniforms to Mrs. Bussen Monday or Tuesday. Thank you!
The JH track bus left Oakley about 15 minutes ago. It will meet parents at the school in Weskan.
JH and HS students who met their assessment goals will be given a 2-hour delay (9:50am start) as a reward on Tuesday, May 19. Students will be told Monday if they met their goals.
JH Parents: Mrs. Palmer will have the bus sign off sheet at today's track meet. Please find her to sign off your child if not riding the bus home. Thank you!
League Track is tomorrow in Oakley, order of events can be found on Weskan Facebook. Times listed are CT.
Please note - the league will be charging for admission. $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for students. Go Coyotes!
The bus for the JH track meet in Oakley will leave tomorrow morning at 6:45 from the school. We will pick up in Sharon and Wallace.

Junior High will be responsible for bringing a 9X13 dessert
High School will be responsible for bringing a 9x13 side
** this will be a rolling schedule so plan to have things (hopefully) staring early after we get things moving at 5:15
**if you have RSVP'd a large number please plan accordingly and bring multiple sides. (A dessert AND side dish if you have both JH and HS)
** don't forget this is a fancier event! No athletic shorts or jogging pants! Dress up- Game day attire welcomed!
** Main dish will be Brisket and Chicken**
